Dialogue Society Leicester branch held a roundtable discussion with Prof Robert Allison, Vice Chancellor and President of the Loughborough University, on ‘What can we do to prevent violence by religious extremism?’.

Prof Allison talked about the root causes of religious extremism and discussed how students from over 100 countries can feel at home and live in harmony at Loughborough University owing to set of values in place in the campus.

Prof Robert Allison is the Vice-Chancellor and President of Loughborough University. He holds a BA degree in Geography at Hull University. Professor Alison has contributed to a number of organisations including the Natural Environment
